Nigerian Minister Holds a Meeting with Lithuanian Candidate for ITU Deputy General Secretary Position in Barcelona

On the sideline of Mobile World Congress (MWC), taking place in Barcelona, Spain, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami), PhD, FNCS, FBCS, FIIM held a meeting with Mr Tomas Lamanauskas, the Government of the Republic of Lithuania candidate for the post of Deputy Secretary General of United Nation’s International Telecommunications Union (ITU) in the upcoming election.
During the meeting, Mr Lamanauskas explained his blueprint for Africa and used the opportunity to seek the support of Nigeria through the Minister during the next election.
