UPU CONGRESS COTE D’IVOIRE: Pantami Holds Meeting with Swiss Government Delegation

At the ongoing 27th Universal Postal Union (UPU) Congress taking place in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, the Honourable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami), PhD today held a meeting with a delegation of Switzerland led by their
ambassador, Thomas Heimgartner.
The main discussion of the meeting was centred around a partnership between both countries and also the upcoming UPC election.
The UPU member countries are set to elect the next UPU director general and deputy director general and also decide on the membership of the UPU’s Council of Administration and Postal Operations Council for the 2021-2024 period.
Also part of the meeting was the Post Master General of Nigeria, Dr Ismail Adebayo Adewusi.
