Pantami Receives a Delegation from the European Union

The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami) receives in audience, a delegation from the European Union, led by the Executive Vice President of the European Commission for A Europe Fit for the Digital Age, Margrethe Vestager on a working visit.

The EU delegation was at the Communications and Digital Economy Complex, Abuja to inform the Minister about the commission’s plan to invest at least €820,000,000 in Nigeria’s digital transformation under its global gateway initiative (The EU- Nigeria Digital Economy Package 2021 – 2024).

The areas of partnership include Digital Infrastructure Investment; Digitalization of Public Services; Digital Entrepreneurship; Digital Skills; and Digital Governance.
